I have been so busy this month with end of year events: *appointments for all kids *appointments for pcs *rehearsals *choir and orchestra concerts *graduations (x3) *6th grade dance During this time, I have put myself on the back burner, but I’ve tried my hardest to at least take the time that I need to breathe. Even if it’s just 5 minutes. I remind myself that this would all be worth it in the end. So far, it’s been bittersweet and nothing but gratitude for being able to witness my girls and how much they have accomplished in their lives. No one said parenting is easy. No one said moving is easy. No one said living is easy. No one is an expert in making things easy. I am a soul who is trying to enjoy this human experience. I came here to learn and share what I know. I’m learning how to be organized and patient; and I’m sharing how I find the beauty in everything, no matter how stressed out I may be. This is by all means not an explanation to anyone, but just another entry into my life for my future self.
It’s so important to take the time for yourself, NO matter how small of a time it is.
It’s also very important to cut yourself some slack. You are here in human form, living the human experience.
✡︎That means you get stressed out, no matter how much you preach about not overwhelming yourself.
✡︎That means you get anxious and angry, no matter how much you preach about journaling, meditating, etc.
✡︎That means you will feel lost, confused and stuck, no matter how much you preach about giving yourself time to dig deep on any stored up feelings and emotions.
Life is a roller coaster type of experience. However, it’s an experience where you learn to either get back on the ride until you learn how to have fun and be appreciative for the journey, or you can choose to sit it out until you are ready to do so. You cannot rush into anything if you are not ready.
I hope this helped the soul that needed guidance, just as much as I learn from reading my own experiences written down.
Until next time,
Yvonne (Eve)
xoxo
