I cannot believe it's already been a year since we got to Italy! It seems like just yesterday I took this pic at TLF before getting on the shuttle for the airport.

This year has been full of firsts, oohs and ahhs, tears, laughs, frustration, disappointments...but, overall, it has been full of us. Us being us wherever we go.
Living in Italy has been fun so far! The views are beyond beautiful! We have some amazing neighbors, and with the salvation of google translate, we've been able to communicate. And it's amazing how not even the language barrier can keep kids from playing with each other. My three smaller girls love tossing the ball back and forth to two older Italian kids over our backyard fence.I was always meant to see the world through a different lens and I got the opportunity to do so. Although I've met some pretty cool people, I think this trip is mainly getting me even more comfortable with being by my lonesome. And I'm looking forward to it when I'll be left home with all the kids at school. It'll be a time to get out of my comfort zone and venture off on my own. This first year has been a trial and error period. Seeing what works for us living abroad. Although we're still learning, I say we've done a pretty good job at getting through this year without completely losing my shit. Oh the Universe knows I've been super duper close. I know this next year is going to be full of adventures, and I'm super excited!!!
Stay tuned. 💜💜
