Different Sides To The Same Story 🌜🌛

Have you ever asked someone, "What was it like growing up?"
Have you ever asked that someone's sibling, or even their parent, "What was it like growing up?" or "What were they like growing up?"
Have you ever gotten the same story?
I have found over the course of the years, that no one story is the same no matter if the same two people witnessed the same thing.
I compare this to my own personal story.
I remember most of my childhood past the age of 5. When I ask my sibling about their recollection of certain things that happened in our childhood, they quite don't remember such things happening the way I said they did, they remember only pieces of the events, or they don't even remember them happening at all.
How can that be possible?
How can two people see the same thing, but one not remember everything?
It is all about one's perception and how we retain information. Sometimes we have too much fun to even notice the bad things. Sometimes we are too miserable to even notice the good things.
We are conditioned to do good things based on our family beliefs or learn the habits of the person we look up to the most...our parents.
I was always observant, even now. So I still remember things, no matter how weird they may seem.
I later found out in my adulthood that I am an empath, highly intuitive, and very wise. I cannot credit this to my upbringing, I credit this to my higher self and who I truly am.
So the next time you go asking two siblings how did they describe their upbringing and you do not receive the same response, just keep in mind their perception of things and how different it was for the both of them.
